I created this illustration of a beaver for the book The Yukon Fireman in collaboration with Daan Kloeg. This book is both an exciting reader and a survival manual. I had the opportunity to create over 300 illustrations for this assignment. I'm a huge animal lover and love creating animal illustrations. For The Yukon Fireman, I illustrated hundreds of animals.
I created these illustrations for a new picture book of my own. Unfortunately, new commissions kept coming up, so I couldn't publish this book. I'll also be rewriting the story, so this illustration is no longer usable. But it's a super cute illustration.
I created this illustration for one of my own picture books, published by Clavis Books. This picture book has also been translated into Korean. In addition, these images were also used by Kleuteruniversiteit (in collaboration with Heutink) to create a digital project for preschoolers and teachers with the aim of informing and inspiring.
I created this image for the cover of a reader for publisher De Banier. It was about children and nature.
I created this image for a birthday card. Musk oxes are one of my favorite animals.

I'm Paul Oole: designer & illustrator. I studied at the Artez Academy of Fine Arts in Kampen/Zwolle. I've illustrated quite a few books for both large and small publishers. I've also published a number of my own (picture) books. My target audience is very broad, from toddlers to teenagers. From funny stories to educational work.
