Yukon beaver
I created this illustration of a beaver for the book The Yukon Fireman in collaboration with Daan Kloeg. This book is both an exciting reader and a survival manual. I had the opportunity to create over 300 illustrations for this assignment. I'm a huge animal lover and love creating animal illustrations. For The Yukon Fireman, I illustrated hundreds of animals.

I'm Paul Oole: designer & illustrator. I studied at the Artez Academy of Fine Arts in Kampen/Zwolle. I've illustrated quite a few books for both large and small publishers. I've also published a number of my own (picture) books. My target audience is very broad, from toddlers to teenagers. From funny stories to educational work. Every assignment has a message; I can translate ideas into strong designs that touch, surprise, and linger. This website gives you a preview of what I can create. You can see more of my images and other work on my own website. Are you looking for an illustrator/designer with the knowledge and skills for your project and who can create a book that touches and inspires? Feel free to contact me for collaborations/assignments
