Born in Bucarest (Rumania), I moved at an early age to The Netherlands where I studied art and printmaking at the Rijksacademie in Amsterdam. I have had a successful career as a printmaker before making a change of direction in my creative work, having chosen to specialize in illustrating children's books and other publications. My illustration work covers fiction as well as non-fiction:
